About

Understand. Improve. Grow.

NegoTrack exists because the information a small business needs is already public, already free, and almost impossible to use.

The problem

Nobody is short of data.

A business owner who wants to know how they are doing online has, in theory, everything they need. Search positions are public. Reviews are public. Page speed can be measured by anyone. What a competitor is doing is visible to anybody willing to look.

In practice, that information lives in five different places, is written for five different specialists, and none of the five agrees on what matters. Reading it is a skill. Acting on it is a second skill. Doing both every week, around actually running the business, is a job, and it is a job nobody in a five-person company has.

So the sensible response is the one almost everybody takes: check nothing, hope for the best, and find out something was wrong when the phone goes quiet.

Less data for the sake of data.

More context.

More priorities.

More useful action.

What we think

Four opinions the product is built on.

Business data should end in a decision

A dashboard that shows you thirty numbers and no conclusion has moved the work, not done it. If a screen does not change what somebody does next, it should not exist.

The ranking is the product

Finding problems is the easy part; any crawler finds forty. Knowing which one is worth an afternoon is the difficult part, and it is the part everybody skips.

Plain language is not dumbing down

“Largest contentful paint is 4.1s” and “your headline takes four seconds to appear on a phone” are the same fact. Only one of them can be acted on by the person paying for the site.

Say what you cannot do

No tool can guarantee a ranking or remove a bad review. Software that pretends otherwise sells well and gets cancelled in month three.

The name

Negocio, plus track.

“Nego” comes from negocio, the Spanish word for business. “Track” means to follow something over time and see whether it is getting better. Together: tracking the health of your business.

The name is Spanish-first because the product is. Spain is not a translation of an English product; it is one of the two markets this was designed for from the start, which is why the Spanish guides are written rather than translated.

NegoTrack is not negotiation software, sales software or a contract-management tool. A separate and unrelated product shares a similar name.

Where

Two countries, treated as equals.

The United Kingdom and Spain launch together. That is a design constraint as much as a market decision: building for two markets at once forces the product to handle genuinely different questions, platforms and rules, rather than assuming one country's habits are how the world works.

It also means neither language is an afterthought. The Spanish guides answer Spanish questions, the Kit Digital website nobody has opened since it launched, the autónomo with no local listing, and the English ones answer English questions. Neither set is a translation of the other, because translating them would produce content that helps nobody.

Where things stand

In development, and saying so.

NegoTrack is being built. The private beta has not opened, no live scanning service is operating, and every product interface on this website uses clearly labelled demonstration data from fictional businesses.

There is no funding announcement, customer count or launch date to report here, so none is reported. When there is, it will appear on this page with a date on it.

Be there when it opens.
