United Kingdom

Business health monitoring built for UK small businesses.

Most of what decides whether a customer in your town finds you is decided by your Google Business Profile, your reviews and one page on your website. NegoTrack watches all three and tells you which one is the problem.

What is different here

Local search in Britain is a small-radius business.

A trades business in a mid-sized town competes inside a few miles, not nationally. That makes the map listing and a handful of local search terms worth more than everything else combined — and it makes checking them from your own premises particularly misleading, because the radius that matters is not the one you are standing in.

It also means most of the fixable problems are unglamorous: a profile nobody verified, a service area covering the wrong postcodes, opening hours that still say Christmas.

  • Google Business Profile does the heavy lifting

For a lot of UK small businesses the listing brings more enquiries than the website does, especially in the first year. It is also the thing owners are least often told to check.

  • Searches are postcode-shaped

Positions are checked from points across the area you actually serve, so “third” means something. A search from your own kitchen tells you almost nothing.

  • Service areas, not just addresses

Plenty of UK trades work from home and travel to customers. That has its own rules — the address is hidden and a coverage area is set instead — and the checks account for it rather than flagging it as a fault.

  • Reviews are the deciding vote

Between two businesses a customer has never heard of, review volume and recency usually settle it. Rating alone rarely does.

Worked examples

Three businesses, three different first problems.

The same product, reading the same signals, arriving at three unrelated recommendations.

A Manchester plumber

Trades · service area, no shopfront

Strong reviews, decent website, quiet phone since spring.

What NegoTrack would find

The service area covers five postcodes but the website names only the city. The two competitors ranking above them both have a page for boiler repair specifically.

First recommendation

Give the highest-earning service a page that names the areas covered.

A Birmingham dental practice

Healthcare · single location

Excellent visibility, high rating, enquiries dropping off before booking.

What NegoTrack would find

Every route to book asks the visitor to phone, and 54% of visits arrive after 6pm when nobody answers. The listing hours and website hours also disagree.

First recommendation

Add a booking route that works outside opening hours, and align the two sets of hours.

A Leeds accountant

Professional services · office based

Good website, almost no local visibility.

What NegoTrack would find

The profile is unverified, which caps everything downstream, and the primary category is set to a generic business term rather than the profession.

First recommendation

Verify the profile and set the primary category correctly — before touching anything else.

Availability

Where the UK stands today.

The United Kingdom is one of two launch markets, alongside Spain. Neither is a translation of the other: the guides, the examples and the checks are written for each market separately, because the questions genuinely differ.

NegoTrack is in development and the private beta has not opened. Everything shown on this page is demonstration data from fictional businesses. Joining the waiting list is how you hear when UK invitations start going out.

UK questions

Does it work if I do not have a shopfront?

Yes, and it is designed for it. Businesses that travel to customers hide their address and set a service area instead. NegoTrack checks that the coverage area matches the postcodes you actually work in, and does not penalise you for having no public address.

I am in a small town. Is there enough to monitor?

Usually more than in a city, proportionally. In a smaller market a handful of local terms and one or two competitors decide most of it, which makes each fixable problem worth more.

Do I need Google Analytics connected?

No. NegoTrack reads publicly visible information only — your website, your listing, your reviews, your search positions. There is nothing to install and no account to link.

Will this replace my SEO agency?

No. It tells you what is happening and what to prioritise. That is a useful thing to have whether or not somebody else is doing the work — and it tends to make the conversation with an agency shorter and more specific.

Is NegoTrack a UK company?

NegoTrack is a product in development for the UK and Spanish markets. Company and contact details will be published on this site as they are finalised; nothing is claimed here that is not yet true.
